Community Outreach Manager, China
Location: Oslo, Norway, no / Beijing, China, cn
We are looking for a creative and structured marketing promoter with a passion for social media, Web technology and the mobile Internet.
This person will build and grow our user base in China through both online and offline channels. This person will be based in Beijing, China Oslo, Norway.
The position is subject to an agreed probationary period of 6 months with a regular employment agreement. The successful candidate will also be offered the opportunity to work on exchange basis from our offices in Beijing, China and Oslo, Norway.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Opera’s social media presence and write daily blog posts.
- Translate Web properties and campaign materials into Chinese.
- Recruit and manage the Opera Campus Crew program for China.
- Manage product launches for Opera’s desktop and mobile products.
- Initiate and execute marketing initiatives. Localize global campaigns.
Requirements
- Expertise in social media
- Marketing excellence
- Extensive knowledge of Web technology
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and English
- Minimum Bachelor’s level preferred
